Switching Existing Microsoft User to Another Club 

  1. Open Active Directory (bsrg-srv1) 

  1. Find the existing user account and double click on it 

  1. Change their email to the new email domain for the property they’re moving to 

 

  1. Click on the “Account” Tab and on the dropdown menu next to “User logon name” select the new club 

 

  1. Click on “Attribute Editor” and then scroll down until you find “proxyAddresses” and double click it 

 

  1. In the “value to add” box enter put: SMTP:theirnewemailClick “Add” Then type smtp:theiroldemail and click add (SMTP in caps sets the primary email, while lowercase smtp sets the alias email 

  1. Run the ad sync command on the AD server (bsrg-srv2) and verify on admin.microsoft.com that the account has been updated
