NEW POS PC SETUP CHECKLIST
Create a local admin account called: Setup
Sign in via your bluestar admin account
Change the PC name to POSclubnamelocation (IE POSENCPATIO)
Go to “System” via Control Panel
Join the computer to the domain
Search “Domain” in the windows search
Click connect
Enter the domain: bsrg.com
Install POS software. If it’s EZsuite: follow the steps below. Skip to Step 6 otherwise
Log in as local user (use Datto to see last user log in of existing POS)
Should be username and then password: Bluepass5
Add all printers local to that computer. Make sure you’re logged in as the local account first.
Open File Explorer and enter \\servername
You should then see all the local printers
Adding EZsuite to a Workstation
Log in as an administrator on the domain
In file explorer, enter: \\server_name
Find the installation files under the IBS
Install EZsuite
It will ask for the server and database
Server name: servername/sqlexpress (sometimes it doesn’t require /sqlexpress
Database: ibscore
Upgrade EZsuite to the latest version using the install file in the IBS folder
Install Windows updates
Physically label the computer (label printer) same name as set above (POSclubnamelocation)
